MERD    

The Medical Education and Research Department (MERD) is the centralized department at Dubai Health Authority (DHA) responsible for the provision of medical education, research and continuing professional development of healthcare experts in the United Arab Emirates.  MERD is always pleased to support healthcare professionals in their continuous education for retaining, augmenting and Nourishing their knowledge and skills to obtain better outcome and for building up healthier and happier community.  We recognize that in healthcare, keeping up to date is the foundation for delivering excellence service to our beloved community.

    MANAAR     

MANAAR (Medical Augmentation & Nourishment Anytime Anywhere Resource) is a Learning Management System (LMS), developed based on MOODLE core by Medical Training Section at Medical Education and Research Department, Dubai Health Authority.  MANAAR is a complete, secure, web-based training and learning solution that employs a simple user interface to create online training platforms. This way both technical and non-technical training managers can easily create, manage, and track interactive training courses and learning programs for all levels of users.

The portal is targeting all Healthcare Professionals with the aim to attract, evaluate, retain and develop their competency to conquer the DHA vision “Towards a healthier and happier community” and to attain the values of “innovation” and “excellence”.
